In the 3rd animation of the series, we continue the viral particle’s journey in the human body and see what happens after the virus has unlocked the lung cell and entered. Here, we witness the tragic beauty of viral infection and replication. Virus’ need to enter a cell so they can duplicate. Viral particles don’t possess the biological machinery to reproduce on their own.

Once they enter the body, the viral particles release their own genetic material, usually DNA, into the cytoplasm, which takes over the cells inherent machinery and instructs the human cell to make and assemble parts of the viral particle. The animation takes on an ominous feel once the virus enters and hijacks the human cell. Thousands of viral particles are produced and then released so that they can go on and infect other cells.
