Please allow time for the interactive experience to load. The experience was built for a conference setting as a PC application with touchscreen monitor. It was not built for website use, although for reviewing purposes please use Chrome or Firefox as your browser. Additionally, the experience was intentionally designed without voiceover, relying instead on text to effectively communicate its message in the noisy conference environment. Enjoy!

To bring their science off the screen and into the hands of their audience, BeOne Medicines introduced an interactive touchscreen experience at the 2024 ASH Annual Meeting in San Diego.

The BCR Signaling Pathway with proteins labeled

Built in partnership with XVIVO, the experience allowed booth visitors to explore the role of BTK mutations in drug resistance and how targeted protein degradation could play a role in overcoming resistance. The interface was designed with elegance and simplicity in mind, using visual assets from the two MOA animations already created for BeOne Medicines: BeOne Medicine’s BTK Degrader Animation and CDAC Platform MOA Animation to keep the visuals consistent.

The high-quality 3D graphics and animation also served as a conduit to transition into clinical trial data that illustrated the current need associated with BTK resistance mutations in patients with relapsed or refractory CLL.

Whether visitors navigated the tool on their own or used it to spark conversations with BeOne’s team, the experience brought another layer of understanding to the story. It’s one more example of how thoughtful design and scientific story telling can work hand in hand to make complex ideas memorable.
