Mechanism of ADAR Animation

Korro Bio is a leading biotechnology company specializing in RNA editing technologies, and they partnered with us to educate stakeholders about their cutting-edge processes.

RNA editing

The first animation we created for Korro Bio was about the mechanism of a protein called ADAR, and the role it plays in their proprietary OPERA™ platform.

Goals for the project included communicating how endogenous ADAR works, how Korro Bio’s CHORDs (Customized High-fidelity Oligonucleotides for RNA Deamination) can utilize ADAR, and the benefits of RNA editing.

The process began with in-depth consultations with Korro Bio’s scientists to ensure accuracy. XVIVO’s team created a script and storyboards that captured the essence of RNA editing with ADAR. Then advanced animation techniques were used to visualize molecular processes, making the complex technology understandable.

Korro Bio’s Senior Director of Platform Technology, Chris Brown said, “Working with XVIVO has been a game-changer for our educational initiatives, and the experience of working with XVIVO was great. Everyone was very polite, very professional and the quality of the work is fantastic. I mean the animations speak for themselves. When I finally showed the work, we had been developing to my team, we got a huge round of applause! ”.

XVIVO’s collaboration with Korro Bio demonstrates the power of visual storytelling in biotechnology. For more examples of XVIVO & Korro’s partnership visit: Revolutionizing RNA Editing Awareness: XVIVO’s Medical Animation for Korro Bio
