Fracture-related infections remain one of the most persistent challenges in orthopedic care, particularly in high-risk injuries where compromised blood flow limits the effectiveness of systemic antibiotics. These cases often lead to prolonged treatment, multiple surgeries, and a significant impact on patient quality of life. Reselute set out to address this problem with a fundamentally different approach, one that treats stability and infection as a single, integrated challenge.
We partnered with Reselute to build a 3D Medical device animation around their Reselution™ Intramedullary Fixation System, focusing on what makes it different and why it matters in the context of high-risk fractures. The piece takes the audience from the clinical problem into the surgical workflow, showing how the device is prepared and used in the operating room.
From there, we bring the viewer inside the device to show how it functions over time. The degradable core dissolves and releases antibiotics locally, maintaining therapeutic levels at the fracture site over several weeks. That sustained, targeted delivery is central to how the system supports healing while helping to manage infection risk.
Taken together, the animation shows how the system works in practice and where it fits in the broader treatment landscape. It gives Reselute a clear, visual way to communicate their approach and start meaningful conversations with surgeons, partners, and investors.
