By age 50, over half of all males will experience some hair loss caused by Androgenetic Alopecia, also known as male pattern baldness. We teamed up with Johnson & Johnson to develop an educational animation to describe the hair growth process, what goes awry in Androgenetic Alopecia, and how Minoxidil can help reverse its effects.

Androgenetic Alopecia is characterized by shorter anagen phases and longer telogen phases, which result in shorter and thinner hairs.

Minoxidil is a clinically proven treatment for this condition, and may work to support hair growth in several ways, including: increasing blood supply to the follicle, shortening telogen phases while lengthening anagen phases, and triggering dormant follicles into new growth cycles.
