In addition to its imaging capabilities, the new Nikon Eclipse T12 microscope has built-in features that allow the user to directly view the internal alignment of certain microscope pieces. Proper alignment of these microscope components is critical to obtain a clear image when using differential interference microscopy, or total internal fluorescence microscopy.

The animation takes the viewer on the optical path from the alignment light source to the back camera that facilitates alignment, with other components of the inverted microscope seen in the semi-transparent effect of the animation series. Learn more about these animations in our blog, NIKON – SEE MORE THAN BEFORE.
